Scholarships in Popular UK Universities - Dubai Campus

1. University of Birmingham 

Ranked #90 in the QS World Ranking of 2022, the University of Birmingham UK is a public university offering Bachelor’s, Master’s, and foundation courses in a variety of subjects. For 2021 intakes, the university is offering various scholarships to international students studying at their Dubai campus. Here’s the eligibility criteria for the same: 

For Master’s Degree

Students will get scholarships based on their results at Bachelor’s Level. 

• Up to 30% Scholarship for First Class in Bachelor’s Degree 
• Up to 20% Scholarship for an Upper Second Class 
• Up to 10% Scholarship for a Lower Second Class 

For Bachelor’s Degree

Scholarships are available at Bachelor’s level depending on the aggregate percentage in Std XII: 

• Up to 30% Scholarship for 90% and above 
• Up to 20% Scholarship for 85% and above 
• Up to 15% Scholarship for 80% and above 
• Up to 10% Scholarship for 75% and above 

2. Heriot-Watt University 

Established in the year 1821, Heriot-Watt University is one of the oldest higher educational institutions. The University is divided into five distinct academic schools offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs. 

To provide financial aid to international students, the university is providing a variety of scholarships for September 2021 intakes. Take a look: 

Covid Relief Scholarship

Heriot Watt University has introduced Covid Relief Scholarship and as a part of it, a discount award of AED 8,000 will be awarded to the students applying for foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate, or MBA programs. They must pay the tuition fee deposit by 31st August 2021. 

Family Scholarship

On enrolling two or more students from the same immediate family for any foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate program, a family scholarship of AED 3,000 will be offered. 

Sports and Community Engagement Scholarship

As a part of a sports and community engagement scholarship, a tuition fee waiver of up to 30% will be offered to around 30 students who have excelled in any sports, community engagement activities, or extracurricular activities at the national or international level. 

Merit Based Scholarship at Bachelor’s Level 

Scholarships are available at Bachelor’s level depending on the aggregate percentage in Std. XII: 

• Up to 50% Scholarship for 90% and above 
• Up to 40% Scholarship for 85% and above 
• Up to 30% Scholarship for 80% and above 

Merit Based Scholarship at Master’s level

Scholarships are available at Master’s level Based on the final aggregate percentage in Bachelor’s Degree. 

• Up to 15% Scholarship for CGPA of 7.0/10 
• Up to 10% Scholarship for CGPA of 6.5/10 

3. University of Stirling

Established in the year 1967 through a Royal Charter, the University of Stirling is offering scholarships at Bachelor's Level. Have a look!

For Bachelor’s

• Students achieving above 90% in Std. XII will be offered a scholarship of AED 10,000 on their first year of tuition fees. 
• Students with 75% – 90% in Std. XII will be offered a scholarship of AED 5,000 on their first year of tuition fees. 

4. Middlesex University 

Middlesex University is offering a wide range of grants to all the international students for the upcoming September 2021 intakes. 

• 40% off on the tuition fees for International Foundation Programme 
• 30% off on the tuition fees for Undergraduate Programme 
• 25% off on the tuition fees for Postgraduate Programme 

5. Scholarships in University of Wollongong, Australia - Dubai Campus 

Ranked #196 in the QS World Rankings of 2022, the University of Wollongong offers over 300-degree programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Scholarships that will be offered for the upcoming 2021 intake are as follows: 

Undergraduate Scholarship

The Undergraduate Academic Merit Scholarship at the University of Wollongong will cover up to 15% to 50% of the tuition fees for each semester. The university has divided the scholarship into three categories i.e., 50%, 25% and 15% depending on the percentile of the student in the previous qualification. 

Postgraduate Scholarship

The Postgraduate Academic Scholarship covers 15% to 25% of the tuition fees for each semester. The university has divided the scholarship into two categories i.e., 25% and 15% depending on the percentile scored at bachelor’s level. 

6. Scholarships in Abu Dhabi University - Dubai Campus 

Abu Dhabi University is offering scholarships to international students studying at the Bachelor's or Master’s Level. 

• The university is offering merit-based scholarships up to 45% of tuition fees at bachelor’s level and 25% of tuition fees at Master’s level. 
• Those who do not qualify for the Merit-Based Scholarship will be considered for a 15% scholarship at Bachelor’s and Master’s level provided they meet the standard entry requirements. 

Masters Scholarships 

• 25% scholarship awarded to students who achieved 3.5 out of 4.0 GPA or equivalent (First division) 
• 15% scholarship awarded to students who achieved between 2.5 to 3.49 GPA out of 4.0 or equivalent (Second and 3rd division) Apart from scholarships, all the international students will be offered free hostel accommodation for 1 year in the sharing categories. 

7. Scholarships in Manipal University - Dubai Campus 

Manipal University, one of India's leading academic and research institutions, is offering a range of scholarships to international students for the upcoming 2021 intakes. They are as follows: 

• 20% Academic Scholarship at both Bachelor’s and Masters’ level 
• Partial Registration Waiver of AED 630 
• Complementary Medical Insurance of AED 1575
