  • Ensure you are in a closed room by yourself while taking the test.
  • Your desk must be clear of any unauthorized items. You should sit upright in a normal chair, and the proctor should have a clear view of your surroundings.
  • Note-taking is not allowed except for a small whiteboard with an erasable marker or one sheet of paper in a transparent protector.

  • Click on the Upcoming Test section and select on the ‘Reschedule’ option.
  • Choose a new date and time from the available slots that best fit your schedule.
  • Verify your new date and click the Register button to proceed.
  • Ensure all personal information is correct before finalizing.
  • Complete the payment for the rescheduling fee, after which you will receive a confirmation email.

If you decide not to take the GRE, you can cancel your exam through the following steps:

  • Access the ETS official website with your account.
  • Click on Upcoming Test and select the ‘Cancellation’ option.
  • Click the 'Confirm Cancellation' button to confirm the process.

The rescheduling fee is $50 which is ₹4,197, and you can cancel at least four days in advance for a full refund or receive a 50% refund for later cancellations.
