To determine a person's level of English proficiency for the purposes of employment, immigration, or education, the IELTS is required. IELTS Academic and IELTS General are the two types of exams that are offered. Candidates must decide on an appropriate exam centre and date before registering for IELTS. The approximate IELTS exam fee for a pen-and-paper IELTS is INR 16,250. The test lasts for a total of two hours and forty-five minutes. The test may be taken up to four times each month by candidates.
