Pre-Requisites for Pursuing Masters in AI/ML

Academic Requirements

A bachelor's degree in an approved STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) discipline is needed for admission to a master's program in AI & ML. Students are also required to provide their transcripts.  
 

Standardized Test Requirements
 

GMAT or GRE Scores

The GMAT or the GRE is another prerequisite for Master's programs in AI & ML. But note that it is not required to be taken in Australia, Canada, UK and other European countries. For other study destinations minimum of 580 to 700 GMAT scores shift based on the degree and institution typically accepted. However, at present, several schools have removed the prerequisites from the application processes. 
 

English Language Test Scores

An English proficiency test score is required for those who are not natural English speakers and who completed their undergraduate studies at a school where English was not the primary language of instruction. Indicated below are the minimum test scores required for an admit -

  • TOEFL iBT: 70 - 100 
  • IELTS: 6.0 - 7.5 
  • PTE: Minimum 65 
  • DET: Overall Score of 105 

(Note: For UK, Above 6.5 Band in IELTS)
