What do you see when you look at an impressive building structure? It's the breathtaking architecture, the strength of the beams, the materials used, and how efficiently the structure serves its function while still looking beautiful. All these aspects make us wonder what went into making these astonishing marvels come to life from just a mere blueprint.
Construction of a building usually involves three main parties that everyone is aware of. They include the project owner, who provides the funds; the architect or engineer, who designs the project; and the general contractor, who oversees operations and manages subcontractors. Beyond these main parties, there is another player who represents the owner's interests and perspective, ensures construction is completed efficiently, and provides direct oversight of the entire project for the owner. That player is whom we call a Construction Manager.
