3. Government-Funded Scholarships 

The two major scholarship programs provided by US government for international students are: 

  • Fulbright Foreign Student Program: This program is for graduate students and artists who desire to study in the United States for at least one-year duration. Open to all fields except medicine. 
  • Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program: This scholarship is more for professionals who want to do academic study in the United States for at least 10 months. 

 

4. Privately-Funded Scholarships 

Private organizations or donors also fund scholarships for international students which mostly have strict eligibility requirements.
