We are all familiar with leading study destinations such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada, renowned for their globally recognized qualifications and high-ranking universities. Similarly, several Asian and European countries have established themselves as prominent choices for international education.
In recent developments, however, new and unique study destinations have begun to attract attention. Among them is Mauritius, a nation that boasts one of Africa’s highest tertiary education enrolment rates. According to the Global Innovation Index (GII) 2024, Mauritius ranks 55th among 133 economies, maintaining its position as the most innovative economy in sub-Saharan Africa.
