  • Students attending a secondary school in New Zealand will be evaluated based on their NCEA Level 2 or Level 3 with the Excellence endorsement.
  • Students applying for the Spring 2023 semester must start their program in either the first or second semester of that year.

Who are not eligible for the Scholarship?

  • Students graduated from either the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation Studies Program or English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

  • Students participating in post-secondary education by working toward a Master's degree or Doctorate
  • Students enrolled in or have recently completed their second year of the same degree program at Victoria University of Wellington.

Rules and Conditions

  • Scholarship awards depend upon the recipient's full-time enrollment status within the parameters and duration of the Scholarship.

  • The Deciding Authority may, in its sole discretion, make exceptions to the Scholarship's terms and conditions to accommodate exceptional circumstances or to prevent undue hardship from being imposed on any applicant.
