International students enrolled in courses linked to workforce shortages can now apply to live and work for an extended period in Australia. This new policy is already effective from the 1st of July 2023, and it grants an additional two-year extension of post-study work rights to eligible international graduates. The full list of CRICOS courses encompasses an impressive array of over 3,000 eligible courses, including fields such as science, engineering, information technology, health, teaching, and nursing. This list is organised alphabetically and if a bachelor’s or master’s course is not on this list, then it is not eligible for visa extension. |
Thus, international graduates enrolled in these eligible courses will qualify for an additional two-year extension to their Temporary Graduate visa.
