In a major boost for Indian students aspiring to study in Australia, Macquarie University has launched the Early Acceptance Scholarship valued at up to AUD 40,000. This Merit-based scholarship is designed to support both Postgraduate and Undergraduate students from India applying for the 2025 and 2026 intakes.

As part of this initiative, eligible students will receive AUD 10,000 per year, which can total up to AUD 20,000 for two-year Postgraduate and AUD 40,000 for four-year Undergraduate programs. The amount of this Australian scholarship for Indian students will directly contribute towards tuition fees at Macquarie University’s main campus in Sydney.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Students

To be considered for the Early Acceptance Scholarship, applicants need to:

  • Have an Indian Citizenship.
  • Apply and receive an Offer Letter for a coursework degree at Macquarie University’s Sydney campus.
  • Accept the offer and pay the commencement fee by the specified deadline.
  • Be enrolled full-time in each compulsory study period.
  • Not be a recipient of any government-funded scholarship covering full tuition unless allowed by Macquarie’s Scholarship Team.
