Eligibility Criteria for International Students
Candidates for the Science & Technology Undergraduate Scholarship should meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of India or an Asian country or region, excluding Singapore.
- Academic Performance: A strong high school record is essential, as well as demonstrated excellence in science and mathematics.
- Leadership and Extracurricular Involvement: Candidates should have outstanding achievements in co-curricular activities and prove leadership qualities.
- Program Requirement: Applicants must be applying to full-time undergraduate programs in Computing, Engineering (excluding Infrastructure and Project Management), or Science (excluding Environmental Studies and Pharmacy).
- Transfer Eligibility: Only first-time applicants are eligible, as the scholarship is not available for transfer students from local or international universities.
NUS International Undergraduate Scholarship
The International Undergraduate Scholarship at NUS is open to all international students pursuing various academic disciplines.
Value of the Scholarship
This scholarship to study in NUS Singapore offers financial coverage that includes:
- Subsidised Tuition Fees: Similar to the Science & Technology Scholarship, this scholarship covers tuition after the MOE Tuition Grant Subsidy.
- Annual Living Allowance: Recipients receive SGD$5,800 annually to assist with living expenses in Singapore.
- One-Time Computer Allowance: Upon enrolment, a SGD$1,750 computer allowance is provided.

Scholarship Application Process
1. All eligible international students applying for undergraduate courses at NUS will be considered for both scholarships. Shortlisted applicants will be invited separately to submit the scholarship application.
2. Invited applicants need to submit a few documents like records of their co-curricular activities and other achievements.
