1. What will the course progression be after the Masters Qualifying Program or Pre Masters Program? 

Pathway courses are for students who cannot meet the direct entry requirements of the university. On the Undergraduate level, the Diploma Program allows students entry into the 2nd year of a bachelor's degree. On the Postgraduate level, the Masters Qualifying Program (MQP) provides entry into the 1st year of a master’s degree.

2. How do pathway courses help with progression to Curtin University?

The orientation includes sessions to help students acclimate to the college environment, understand academic expectations, and meet their fellow students.

3. What happens in the orientation program of the college?

Masters Qualifying Program is a part of combined degree with master's. Upon successful completion of MQP with master's degree student will be eligible for 4 years of Post Study Work Visa in Australia.

There are total 4 units/subjects offered in 6 months duration of Masters Qualifying Program (MQP) at Curtin College.

5. How many units are offered in Masters Qualifying Program (MQP) ? 

Curtin College intakes for different courses may vary depending on the course availability. Students have the option to defer their offer for 1 year due to extenuating circumstances or they may have to submit a new application after the 1-year period. &nbsp;If the student chooses to defer for 6 months, they will be informed about the availability of the course in the next intake by the university. Deferring may not be an option in all courses. There are 4 intakes at the university, out of which 2 are major and 2 are minor intakes. &nbsp;

The major intakes at the university are in the months of February and July, offering all important and popular courses. The February intake offers Diplomas and Master's Qualifying Programs for students, and the July intake only offers the Master Qualifying Program available for international students.

The minor intakes have courses in limited subjects available for students. These intakes are in June and October, and students can apply for Diploma courses only.
