Deakin University Australia, named after Alfred Deakin, the country’s second Prime Minister and a key architect of the Australian Federation, was officially established in 1974, though its roots date back to 1887. Intakes

Intakes at Deakin University are spread across three trimesters—February, July, and November—giving students multiple options to begin their studies. Each intake has its own deadlines, so it’s important to plan ahead and apply several weeks in advance to avoid missing out.

The February intake, also known as Trimester 1, is one of the major intakes and offers the widest range of courses. Programs under this intake usually commence in the first week of February.

Admission Requirement
