Intake

The Southern Cross University intakes differ for onshore and offshore programs, and for different student timelines as well. The University offers flexible admissions for many Master’s and Bachelor’s courses, allowing students to apply as per their preferred level, course, and specialization, as well as academic and visa-related prerequisites.

The March and June intakes are the most popular, offering almost all courses at the University.

The University offers a few select courses in January, February, and October. Students should check the availability for their program and apply in advance. 

Cost of Studying at Southern Cross University

At Southern Cross University, fees are based on the course level, duration, campus, and academic facilities required. However, through the Access26 initiative, the tuition fees for most courses are set at an accessible annual cost, providing international students with an excellent return on investment for quality higher education.
 

One can make secure online payments for the cost to study at Southern Cross University through the University’s Payment Portal, which is available through the MyEnrolment portal on its website. These payments can be made via credit card, Paypal, or in foreign currency through Convera.

Admission Requirement

The admission procedure for international students applying to Southern Cross University is relatively straightforward. After comparing and selecting their preferred course according to availability and their preferences. The next step is filling out the application form, which can also be found on the course page. Their application will be reviewed by the University, after which they will receive a formal offer via email, including detailed information about the course and further procedures. 

✅ Students require a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or specialization from a recognized University. 
✅ Some programs require work experience, a portfolio, research proposals, or an interview. 

✅IELTS: Students require an overall score of 6.5 - 7, with no band score less than 6 - 7 
✅TOEFL iBT: An overall score ranging from 79 - 94 is required, with no band score less than 21 - 27
✅PTE: An overall score between 58 and 65 is needed, with no band score less than 50 - 65

✅ Students require a Grade 12 qualification with relevant subjects from a recognized educational institution. 
✅ Some programs may require additional aspects like a portfolio, an interview, work experiences, or a research proposal. 

✅ IELTS: An overall score of 6 - 7.5 with no band score less than 5.5 - 7 is required
✅ TOEFL iBT: An overall score of 60 - 94 with no band score less than 18 - 27 is needed
✅ PTE: An overall score ranging from 50 – 72 is required, with no band score less than 42 - 66
