Swinburne University of Technology has 3 campuses  in Melbourne, including its main campus in Hawthorn, which is located 10 minutes away from the city’s business district, and the other two, namely Croydon and Wantirna. Intakes

Swinburne University of Technology intakes has different intakes for international students each one having its own advantages. If students choose an intake in the mid-year, they can begin classes with a smaller batch of students, get more networking opportunities, and graduate sooner. Admission Requirement

Admissions at Swinburne University of Technology requires international applicants to meet specific academic and English language standards relevant to their chosen course. Assessment is based on equivalent overseas qualifications at Master’s and Bachelor's levels, with additional language proficiency demonstrated through tests such as IELTS or TOEFL.
 

Course-specific requirements and further support are provided throughout the application process. Given below are the admission requirements for Indian students applying to study on Masters and Bachelors level at the University.

Students need to have a Bachelor's degree with a score of 60% - 65% or an equivalent qualification from a tertiary institution approved by the University.

✅ PTE: An overall score of 58 – 65 is needed with a minimum score of 50 – 58.
✅ IELTS: A total score of 6.5 - 7.5 bands is needed, with a minimum band score of 6.0 – 7.0 bands.
✅ TOEFL iBT: Students need an overall score of 79 - 100, with at least 19 in each section.

Students need a score of 65% if they are from ISC and CBSE in 12th grade. Students from the state board need 70% in the 12th grade.

International students can opt for professional job placements in Australia with Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in their respective fields. These are for an additional 6-12 months, which is added to the course duration depending on whether they choose as a co-major or minor.
