Placements Overview
The University of Queensland offers placement courses where students must undertake a period of practical, work-related experience, usually in a location external to UQ. These placement courses are also called work placements, internships, industry study, practicums, fieldwork or other terminologies based on the kind of placement course chosen. Placement courses are designed to help students practice and develop professional skills in a real-life setting.
