English Language Requirement:

Students intending to study at UC College need to fulfil the academic and English language requirements, as well as specific course-related criteria. International students are also required to meet the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirement as part of their student visa application. Entry requirements vary depending on the course. The Cost to study at UC College depends on the specific program chosen. Students enrolling in the English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) will incur an enrolment fee. However, this fee is waived for those who package the English course with other University of Canberra or UC College programs. University of Canberra College fees can be paid via Convera which streamlines the payment process.

Yes, students enrolled at UC College have full access to university resources, including the library, sports facilities, student services, and various clubs.

UC College and its programs are recognized under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), ensuring national academic credibility.

These programs help students develop essential academic, professional, and English language skills needed for success in their university studies and future careers. &nbsp;UC College offers a wide range of programs in areas such as Information Technology, Business, and Design, among others. For students who do not yet meet the University of Canberra’s English language requirements, the College also provides English proficiency courses to help them improve their skills and prepare for academic success. &nbsp;As part of the University of Canberra, UC College benefits from the university’s strong reputation in Australia for graduate employment outcomes, skills training, and student support services. The university is home to over 18,000 students from across Australia and more than 100 countries, contributing to a dynamic, inclusive, and vibrant campus community. &nbsp;Students who study at UC College enjoy full access to the University of Canberra’s facilities, services, and support systems on the shared campus. This includes accommodation, scholarship options, and internship opportunities to support students throughout their academic journey.

All international students are automatically considered for University of Canberra College Scholarships as part of their application process. A variety of scholarships are available for students from different countries. For South Asian students, there are multiple scholarships offering up to 30% off annual tuition fees. Additionally, tuition fee waivers are available for students enrolling in ELICOS when it is packaged with UC College's academic programs at the University of Canberra.

WELCOME TO UCC SCHOLARSHIP 

Students at UC College can access the full range of support services available at the University of Canberra. The UC Student Representative Council (UC SRC) serves as the main voice for students, representing their interests across the university community.

Study Skills, under Library and Learner Experience, delivers academic support for UC College students. Services include help with research, referencing, and study techniques, along with the Maths and Stats Help Centre, Peer-Assisted Learning Sessions (PALS), ASK Advisors, and Study Skills Orientation programs.

UCLife runs a range of social clubs, societies, festivals, live music events, and market days. With over 50 clubs across social, cultural, sporting, and academic groups, students have plenty of opportunities to engage and connect beyond the classroom.&nbsp;

Student Engagement and Activities

Guaranteed on-campus accommodation is offered to all first-year students applying at the UC College. Options include Campus West, Cooper Lodge and UC Lodge with varied yet state of the art facilities.

Accommodation 

UC Thrive features targeted programs, events, and peer mentoring to support student life. During Orientation, Student Mentors assist new students in settling into university. The Medical and Counselling Centre delivers free psychological and counselling services through trained professionals.

Health and Wellness Services

UC College Courses offer a variety of pathway options designed to ensure a smooth transition into University Degrees. Graduate Certificates provide entry into the first year of a Master’s Degree, while Diplomas offer direct admission into the second year of a Bachelor’s Degree. &nbsp;Foundation Programs cater to students who aspire to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Canberra but have not yet met the standard entry requirements. Meanwhile, English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) help strengthen academic English skills.
