Intakes

The University of Tasmania majorly offers two intakes but applications are accepted at any time for most of the courses. International students are encouraged to apply at least 3 to 4 months before the semester start date for proper processing and offer letter to be issued in time for eligible candidates.

Scholarships at University of Tasmania, Australia

Admission Requirement

International students must meet the academic entry and minimum English Language requirements to study at the University of Tasmania. Certain programs may have additional entry requirements, such as higher English proficiency, prerequisite subjects, specific grades, portfolios, or interviews.

A Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution with a minimum score of 60-65%.

✅ PTE: Overall score of 58 with no individual score below 50. 
✅ IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 with no individual score below 6.

For India’s CBSE, CISCE Board or State Board (varies per state): 65% average score from the best four academic subjects.

✅ PTE: Overall score of 50 with no score below 42. 
✅ IELTS: Overall score of 6 with no individual score below 6.
