Intakes

Cambrian College intakes offers three opportunities to start the program throughout the year. Like many other intakes in Canada, these are spread across the year—September, January, and May. However, the availability of programs varies for each intake, so it is always recommended to check the program-specific details on the official website. Applying at least six months in advance is strongly advised to secure a seat and complete all admission formalities on time.

Considered as the major intake, the September intake offers 11 postgraduate and 30 undergraduate programs.

It is ideal for students who want to begin studies at the start of the year. The January intake is open for 10 postgraduate and 17 undergraduate programs.

The may intake is considered as the minor intake that provides 4 postgraduate and 2 undergraduate programs.

Admission Requirements

Students who wish to study in Canada and apply to Cambrian College should submit their applications through the OCAS International Application Service. Up to three programs can be selected, and all communication regarding the application status is shared through the Cambrian College online portal. Official notarized transcripts are required for international credential evaluation.
After review by the admissions team, successful applicants receive a Letter of Acceptance (LOA). To secure timely processing, it is important to check the Cambrian College application deadline for the preferred intake.
 

The common Cambrian College admission requirements for Indian students are given below:

✅IELTS: Overall 6.5 with no band less than 6.0.

After applying, students receive an email from the admissions office at the address provided on their Ontario Colleges application. This email includes the student number and instructions to access the myCambrian account for tracking the application.

A waitlist is created when all seats in a program are filled. Qualified applicants on the waitlist may receive an admission offer if seats open up. Offers are sent via email and must be accepted within the given timeframe. Students can also accept an offer for an open enrollment program without losing their position on a limited enrollment program waitlist.

No. Enrollment is not permitted after the expiry date mentioned on the official Letter of Admission.

If internships, co-ops, or placements are mandatory for the program, students need a co-op work permit before starting. The permit lists Cambrian College as the employer and allows work only during approved co-op terms. It cannot be used for other jobs outside these terms.
