Life at Humber Polytechnic, Canada

MyHumber is an online student portal used to manage course registrations, fee payments, grades, and other academic details. Students can log in using their student number (e.g., N12345678) and the password sent to them upon application. If the password has been forgotten, it can be reset online or by contacting 416.675.6622 ext. 8888.

1. What is MyHumber and how can it be accessed?

After completing registration, students can view their timetable through the MyHumber portal. This can be accessed by navigating to Student &gt; Registration &gt; View Registration Information. A print option is also available.

2. How can students get their class schedule or timetable?

A Confirmation of Enrolment letter can be downloaded from MyHumber by selecting Student &gt; Student Records &gt; Confirmation of Enrolment/Graduation. Students must choose ‘View Enrolment’ for the required semester. Access may be restricted if there is a hold on the account.

3. How can students obtain a Confirmation of Enrolment?

Holds can block access to services such as course registration or enrolment confirmations. Each hold type has specific implications. Students are advised to consult the Holds and Resolution Guide for full details, including updated information on academic midterm warning holds.

4. What does it mean if there is a hold on a student account?

No, full-time students are not eligible for a refund when dropping a single course, as tuition is calculated based on full-time enrolment. To be eligible for a refund, students must officially change their status to part-time

5. Is a refund available if a student drops a course from a full course load?

Humber Polytechnic intakes are divided into Major and Minor categories. The major intake includes the full range of programs at both Postgraduate and Undergraduate levels, while the minor intakes offer a more limited selection of courses.

September is considered the major intake, during which all programs are available across both levels of study.

January and May are classified as minor intakes. The January intake generally includes more course options compared to May. Students are encouraged to choose their intake carefully based on program availability.
