Intakes
Niagara College offers three main intakes for international students. While many Colleges primarily focus on September and January, Niagara College is notable for also offering a May intake for various programs.
The January and September intakes are the major intakes, with most of the Undergraduate programs and only a few Postgraduate programs available.
This is the May intake, with only Undergraduate programs available.
Cost to Study at Niagara College, Canada
Niagara College tuition fees cover the cost of program delivery and institutional services. In addition to tuition, students may also pay ancillary and program-specific material fees, which support non-academic services and specialized course needs. All fees need to be paid by the deadlines stated in the Letter of Acceptance.

Scholarships Available
Niagara College offers over $4 million in funding options to eligible international students. Various bursaries are available, with students able to receive up to $5,000. The College recognizes academic excellence and meaningful contributions to the campus community through its International Student Awards. No separate application is required, as recipients are selected based on their academic performance and active involvement in co-curricular activities.
Admission Requirements
Niagara College has general admission requirements; however, each program may have its own specific criteria in addition to the standard guidelines. In general, applicants are required to show English Proficiency Test scores. Some programs may also have additional requirements such as specific prerequisite courses, pre-admission testing, portfolios, or auditions. ✅ Students need to have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50% or higher in a related field.
✅ IELTS: 6.5 overall, with no module less than 5.5
✅ TOEFL iBT: 85 overall, with no module less than 24
✅ PTE Academic: 64 overall, with no module less than 58
✅ DET: An overall score of 125
✅ Grade 12 with a minimum of 70% or higher from a recognized institution. Students holding a 10+ Diploma should have an overall score of 70% or higher. Six Grade 12 academic subjects are required. Students from a commerce background need to have studied Accounts. Math is not required.
✅ IELTS: 6.5 overall, with no module less than 6
✅ TOEFL iBT: 88 overall, with no module less than 20
✅ PTE Academic: 61 overall, with no module less than 60
✅ DET: An overall score of 125
✅ Students need to have completed Grade 12 with 50% or higher from a recognized institution.
✅ Specific Subject Requirement: Grade 12 English and any Grade 11 or Grade 12 Math are required.
✅ IELTS: 6 overall, with no module less than 5.5
✅ PTE Academic: 58 overall, with no module less than 50
✅ TOEFL iBT: 80 overall, with no module less than 20
✅ DET: A minimum score of 105 is required
