Royal Roads University (RRU) is a public applied research University in British Columbia, Canada, dedicated to lifelong learning and professional development since 1995. Scholarships Available

Royal Roads University offers a variety of Entrance Awards and Bursaries designed to support new students from diverse backgrounds. Through an inclusive awarding system, applicants can share their unique life experiences and what inspired them to study at the University.
 

Students can avail up to $10,000. These entrance awards recognize academic achievements or personal accomplishments in key areas such as Business, Communication, Education, Technology, Sustainability, Humanitarian Studies, Leadership, and Hospitality.

Admission Requirements

Meeting the Royal Roads University admission requirements is essential for securing admission to the University. In addition to standard academic qualifications, applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency at the time of application. Since admission criteria may vary by country, Indian students can conveniently refer to the specific requirements outlined here.

To apply for a Master’s degree, students need a 4-year Bachelor’s degree. Those with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree from a NAAC ‘A’ rated institution with at least a First-Class result are also eligible.  A combination of a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree is accepted as well.

 

✅ IELTS Academic: An overall score of 7.0 with a minimum 6.5 in Writing, Speaking, Listening and Reading
✅ TOEFL iBT: An overall score of 100 with a minimum 26 in Writing, and 23 in Listening, Reading and Speaking
✅ PTE Academic: An overall score of 68 with a minimum 60 in Writing, Speaking, Listening and Reading

✅ For direct entry into the 3rd year of a Bachelor’s program, students must have completed at least 60 credits at a recognized College or University. 

✅ This should include 24 credits at the second-year level, and a minimum GPA of ‘B’ (equivalent to 3.00 on a 4.33 scale).

✅ IELTS Academic: An overall score of 6.5 with a minimum 6.5 in Writing and Speaking, and 6.0 in Listening and Reading
✅ TOEFL-iBT: An overall score of 88 with a minimum of 24 in Writing, and 20 in Listening, Reading and Speaking
✅ PTE Academic: An overall score of 60 with a minimum of 60 in Writing and Speaking, and 58 in Listening and Reading
✅ DET: An overall score of 115 with a minimum of 110 for Literacy, Comprehension and Conversation; and 115 for Production
