St. Clair College of Applied Arts & Technology tuition fees vary depending on the program chosen by international students. Once a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) is issued, students are required to pay the full Confirmation Fee mentioned in the LOA.
 

Payments can be made easily through the College’s international payment portal powered by Flywire, which allows students to pay in their local currency, save on bank fees, and track their payments online. This secure and efficient system ensures timely processing, and a Tuition Payment Receipt is issued once the Confirmation Fee is successfully paid.

Scholarships Available

The St. Clair College of Applied Arts & Technology Scholarship program supports international students in their post-secondary journey. Each year, over $900,000 in scholarships is awarded to around 900 students. While good academic standing is required, scholarships are granted for various reasons, making them accessible to many students.
 

The application period runs from October 1 to December 1 each year. Students can apply through their Student Information System (SIS) account by completing just one general scholarship application annually.

Admission Requirements

For post-secondary programs at St. Clair College, international students need to meet the general admission requirements. Some programs may also have additional subject-specific prerequisites. Applicants from non-English-speaking countries are required to provide English Proficiency Test scores as part of the admission process. Professional counsellors are available to help students adjust to college life, offering guidance with academic planning, stress management, and career exploration. All counselling services are confidential, voluntary, and easily arranged by appointment, giving students personalized support when they need it.

The Saints Student Athletic Association (S.S.A.A.) promotes student wellness through recreational and fitness activities. Intramural programs encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and social interaction. Students can join team sports, competitions, day trips, and special events throughout the year.

St. Clair SRC supports over 30 academic-based student clubs, offering opportunities for leadership, networking, and extracurricular growth. Recognized and ratified clubs receive funding and resources each semester to enhance student engagement beyond the classroom.

To help students manage stress, especially during exams, St. Clair College offers a Therapy Dog Program. Organized by the Student Representative Council (SRC), therapy dog visits provide comfort, companionship, and a relaxing break from academic pressures.

All enrolled students can access primary and urgent care at the on-campus Health Centre. Medical professionals provide first aid and wellness support in a safe, confidential setting, emphasizing the importance of both physical and psychological health. 

Common FAQs

If an applicant misses the May 1st deadline to accept their offer, they may still be able to confirm their seat, provided the program has not reached its capacity. Confirmations submitted after this deadline are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. In cases where the program is full, those who missed the confirmation deadline will be notified via email and placed on a waitlist.

An applicant is placed on a waitlist when the number of qualified candidates exceeds the available seats for a program. If an accepted candidate declines their offer or fails to complete registration, waitlisted applicants may be considered. The waitlist is specific to the intake term and does not carry over to future terms or academic years. Applicants may contact the Registrar’s Office to inquire about their position on the waitlist.

Yes, applications are still accepted after February 1st, as long as there is space remaining in the program. However, availability is limited, and programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the popularity of certain programs, prospective applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

Course prerequisites are mandatory requirements that must be fulfilled prior to enrollment in certain courses. These prerequisites are typically listed at the end of each course description. It is the student's responsibility to ensure all prerequisite conditions are met before registering. Failure to meet these requirements may result in withdrawal from the course.

St. Clair College utilizes an Identity Management System known as St. Clair One, which grants students and staff access to college resources via my.stclaircollege.ca. Once registered, students will receive an email approximately 4 to 6 weeks prior to the start of classes, prompting them to activate their St. Clair One account. If students experience difficulties accessing their account through the St. Clair One Password Management Portal, they are advised to contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.
