Founded in 1962, Trinity Western University (TWU) has grown to become the largest Christian University in Canada, which leads the way in liberal arts education at various levels of education. The university has 3 campuses in Langley, Richmond, and Ottawa. Their main campus is in Langley, which has a 157-acre campus that has residences for students, food services, health and fitness services, sports facilities, a library, and a complete academic ecosystem.

There are 3 intake periods for international students at Trinity Western University to which students to apply. Out of those three, two intakes are considered major ones. The university offers resources for students to figure out when they should start applying for each intake, with specific steps and dates. Students should start applying at least 6 months prior so that they don’t miss the deadlines.

Admission Requirements

There are certain requirements that students have to meet to be eligible for admission to Trinity Western University. Students need to have 5 subjects, out of which 2 have to be at the advanced level. Other requirements may vary depending on the course students choose at the undergraduate level.
 

On the graduate level, there are certain requirements students have to meet. Apart from that, there are some exceptional admission requirements for students who are unable to meet the academic requirements. Here we will see the requirements Indian students need to meet at a Graduate or Undergraduate level.

✅ A Bachelor's degree of 3 or 4 years is required with a minimum of 70%.

✅ IELTS: An overall score of 7.0 bands is required, with a minimum band score of 6.0
✅ PTE Academic: A score of 65 is required overall, with a minimum segment score of 54
✅ TOEFL iBT: A score of 100 is required in total with a minimum score of 20 in each section
✅ DET: An overall score of 130 is needed.

✅ Students need to have 60% in Grade 12.

✅ IELTS: Students need 6.5 bands overall, with individual band scores of 5.5.

There are many TWU placement services for students. Among them is the Laurentian Leadership Centre, which has many internship opportunities. The program places all the students in internships based on their interests and long-term goals. Common FAQs

Students with urgent concerns are attempted to be addressed on the same day. When referring students who are in crisis, faculty and staff are urged to call on behalf of the student to help them arrange an appointment or accompany them to Counselling Services as appropriate.

The official deadline for submitting graduation applications is April 30 of the year before the last year or semester at TWU.

International Studies is a hybrid program in itself, featuring many disciplines, which combine several minors into a single major program. Since a student needs to complete discrete courses toward a minor, it is difficult to combine a minor in History, Political Studies, or Geography with International Studies.

To find who the advisor is, students have to first log in to the student portal. From there, they need to click on "View Profile" and then "Academic Information". The name of the advisor will appear at the very top of the page.

Faculty Advisors are experts in their field and often teach courses within their programs. They can answer specific degree or program questions for students. On the other hand, Academic Advisors are professional advisors in the Learning Commons who can give students advice about the core requirements, their checklists, graduation requirements, major changes, and more.
