VIA University College Intakes are offered once a year, with August being the primary and only major intake at the institution.

The August intake is considered the main admission cycle, during which all courses are open for application. As VIA University College Intakes are limited to this single entry point annually, prospective students are encouraged to prepare their applications in advance to meet the deadlines.

Students receive payment invoices via email, and all fees are required be paid in Danish Krone (DKK). The first semester fee can be paid through a bank transfer, while payments for subsequent semesters can be made either through international transfers or from a Danish bank account.

Scholarships Available

Each year, a limited number of VIA University College Scholarships are available for international full-degree students across all campuses, including Horsens and Herning. These scholarships can cover up to two full semesters, but new students are not eligible to apply. Only those who have completed at least one year of studies at VIA can be considered. Admission Requirements

VIA University College Admission requirements at the Horsens and Herning campuses depend on the specific program selected. Along with academic qualifications, students are also expected to meet English language proficiency through tests like IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, or Cambridge English exams.
 

Those who do not meet certain admission conditions may still be able to apply under special permission. However, this option is not available to students who do not meet the language proficiency criteria.
