Intake to sudy at De MontFort University

De Montfort University, Dubai, Intakes take place in September and January. Both are considered major intakes, though certain programs are available only during specific periods.

All Postgraduate and Undergraduate Programs are open for admission during this intake.
 

Primarily Postgraduate Courses are available. However, some selected Undergraduate Arts Programs may also be offered during this period.

Cost to Study at De MontFort University

The cost to study in De Montfort University, Dubai depends on the chosen program and level of study. An application processing fee is applicable for all applicants. To confirm admission, students must pay the first instalment when accepting the offer.
 

International students must pay 25% of the tuition fee by the start of the program. The remaining 75% can be paid in three equal instalments throughout the course. Payments can be made via bank transfer.

Scholarships Available

Scholarships to study at De Montfort University, Dubai are available through several schemes. One of the key options is the International Student Scholarship, which offers up to 40% off tuition fees and is awarded to a maximum of 50 students. In addition to this, other merit-based and interest-based scholarships consider achievements in academics, sports, community involvement, and alumni status.
 

Students across all levels of study can also benefit from an early application discount. This is available to those who receive either an Unconditional or Conditional Offer Letter from the university. To be eligible, students have to pay a 10% deposit toward their tuition fee within five working days of receiving the offer.

Admission Requirements

De Montfort University, Dubai Admission Requirements vary depending on the course and level of study. The campus accepts qualifications from many different countries. For some Postgraduate Programs, having work experience can be beneficial, though it is not always mandatory and may be waived based on other academic or professional criteria.
 

In addition to academic qualifications, students need to meet English language proficiency through exams such as IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT or PTE Academic.

Applicants should hold an Undergraduate Degree with a minimum of 50%. Professional qualifications considered equivalent will be evaluated individually. While work experience is not mandatory, candidates without formal academic qualifications but with substantial professional experience in a relevant field may also be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
