Overview

Established in 1993, the University of Wollongong in Dubai is the first international Australian university in the UAE and one of the best universities in Dubai. Located in Dubai Knowledge Park, UOWD welcomes over 3,500 students from more than 108 countries, offering a globally recognized education in a dynamic learning environment. As an independent institution, the University of Wollongong in Dubai UAE operates separately from its parent university, the University of Wollongong in Australia, while maintaining strong academic affiliations. Intakes

The University of Wollongong Dubai intakes occurs three times a year, with all three considered major admission periods. Students are advised to begin their application process at least six months in advance to allow ample time for visa processing, document submission, and accommodation arrangements. Since each intake offers a full range of courses, students have flexible options to start their studies at a time that suits them best.

This is one of the primary intakes, marking the beginning of the fall semester. It is a popular choice among international students.

The January intake offers another opportunity to begin studies, aligning with the spring season. This is an excellent alternative for students who may have missed the September intake.

This intake, which may vary between April, May and June, is referred to as the summer intake. It provides an additional chance for students to begin their courses without waiting for the next academic year.

Cost to Study at University of Wollongong, Dubai

The University of Wollongong Dubai fees are paid each trimester based on the enrolled subjects. Students can choose from three payment plans: Traditional, Progress, and Guardian. The Traditional Payment Plan requires full payment before the course begins. The Progress Payment Plan allows installments - 50% upfront, followed by two payments of 25% each. The Guardian Payment Plan offers a 10% discount, awarded as a cash benefit upon graduation.

 

Students opting for Visa Sponsorship from the university should pay first-trimester fees in full under the Traditional Plan. Payments can be made via cash, cheque, or credit card. Scholarships
