Yes, students are allowed to pay their tuition fees in instalments.

1. Can students pay the tuition fee in instalments?

The university strongly recommends initiating the residence permit application within seven days, as processing times can be lengthy, especially during spring and summer. However, if a student is unable to apply within this period, the application may still be submitted later without issue.

2. What if a student cannot apply for a residence permit within seven days?

No, students should not use the university’s address. If no address in Finland is available at the time of application, students can simply indicate “not available yet” and provide their phone number and email address on the forms.

3. Can students use the university address for permit or insurance applications if they do not yet have an address in Finland?

No, the university does not provide a health insurance plan, nor does it recommend specific providers. It is the responsibility of students to choose an insurance policy that meets their individual needs.

4. Does the university provide health insurance or recommend a provider?

5. What is the mode of payment?
