Overview

International School of Management is recognized at the highest international level and was the first Private University of Applied Sciences to study in Germany and to receive the prestigious AACSB accreditation. This achievement highlights ISM’s strong academic standards and global excellence in Business education. ISM has a total of seven campuses across Germany, in major cultural and economic cities like Frankfurt/Main, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart, Berlin, and, of course, Dortmund. This page focuses on the unique offerings of the Dortmund campus. ISM Dortmund is the largest and founding campus of the International School of Management (ISM), established in 1990.

International School of Management offers two intakes throughout the year. While applications are encouraged before the respective deadlines, late submissions may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on availability and program requirements.

International School of Management courses are available at the Master’s, MBA and Bachelor’s levels. All Master’s programs are taught in English, featuring an international focus, a semester abroad, and an optional double degree.
 

The Fast Track option allows students to complete their Master’s in just three semesters. ISM’s MBA programs offer global exposure through international modules and practical training. Cost to Study at International School of Management, Germany

The International School of Management cost structure includes a minimum admission deposit, payable upon acceptance of a degree offer. This deposit is fully deducted from the first semester’s tuition fees. After payment, students receive their admission letter and tuition contract, both essential for visa applications.

Scholarships Available

International School of Management scholarships are designed to support both applicants and enrolled students, making education at this private Business University more accessible. These scholarships help cover tuition fees and are awarded based on various criteria, including Financial Need, Academic Excellence, and Engagement in Extracurricular or University-Related Activities.
 

ISM offers full scholarships from the first semester, as well as partial scholarships covering 25% to 50% of tuition fees for up to one year. Additionally, ISM participates in the nationwide Deutschlandstipendium, offering some amount per month to outstanding students, co-funded by the German government and private sponsors.

Admission Requirements

International School of Management admission requirements vary depending on the chosen program. In addition to meeting standard academic criteria, international applicants need to demonstrate English Language Proficiency and submit a short Curriculum Vitae (CV). ✅ For MBA programs, a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
