Established in 1916, Victoria University is celebrating 110 years of academic excellence. This university was established through the merger of Footscray Institute of Technology and Western Institute. In 2026, the university took a bold step toward globalization by opening its India campus in the Delhi-NCR region.
The Delhi NCR campus of Victoria University, situated in Gurugram, Haryana, is India’s first international campus to teach entirely via its award-winning VU Block Model. Here, students study one subject at a time in small, workshop-style classes over four-week blocks. The VU India campus is set to offer globally recognized intensive business and IT degrees through the same innovative learning model as in the Australia campus, but at a much more affordable cost. The VU India campus will begin its educational offerings with two master’s degree programs and four bachelor’s degree programs. Admission Requirements

- Applicants are required to have completed an Indian Bachelor’s degree equivalent to an Australian Bachelor’s degree in a similar discipline.
- A minimum overall aggregate of 55% (Second Division) in the qualifying degree is required.
There are two ways students can provide proof of English-language proficiency. Students can choose one of the following.
- Applicants are required to have completed their bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with English as the medium of instruction and assessment for the whole institution.
- IELTS Academic: Overall score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0.
The minimum aggregate requirement for secondary education varies by the board. Students can find the specific requirements for each board below.
- CBSE/ICSE: Minimum 70% aggregate score in Class 12; or
- State Boards: Minimum 70% aggregate score in Class 12; or
- International Baccalaureate (IB): Minimum 24 points; or
- A Levels: Minimum grades of CDD; or
- Mathematics Requirement: A minimum Grade C in Mathematics or another relevant STEM subject.
Students can choose one of the following to provide proof of English-language proficiency.
- IELTS Academic: Overall score of 6.5, with no band score below 6.0; or
- CBSE/ICSE: Minimum 75% in English; or
- State Board: Minimum 80% in English.
