Intake to Study at Atlantic Technological University

Atlantic Technological University follows the standard admission cycle for international students, offering two primary intakes in Ireland—September and January. These are commonly referred to as the major and minor intakes. Students planning to apply should always check which programs are available in each cycle to ensure their preferred course aligns with the Atlantic Technological University intake.
 

The university has a major intake in September which has all the courses available for students on Master’s and Bachelor's level.

Cost to Study at Atlantic Technological University

The Atlantic Technological University fees for international students depend on their level of study. Apart from that, students also have to pay a tuition deposit within 30-60 days of receiving an offer. The amount for the deposit varies for Master’s and Bachelor’s students and once paid confirms the acceptance of the applicant.

Scholarships to Study at Atlantic Technological University

Admission Requirements

All the courses at the University are delivered in English so it is necessary for international applicants to provide their language competency through English Language Qualification. The English Language Qualifications are only valid for 2 years after the course start date. International students may also need to check the English language requirements of the Irish Immigration services as they may differ from the Admission Requirements for Atlantic Technological University. Given below are the admission requirements for Indian students applying for Master’s and Bachelor's level courses.
 

A 3 or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree with relevant subject from a University which is considered comparable to a 2:2 Irish Bachelor (Honours) Degree (NQF Level 8) is accepted.

✅ IELTS: A Minimum score of 6.0 overall is needed, with a score of 5.5 in each component. 
✅ DET: A total score of 100 is needed, with a minimum score of 100 in each section.

Completion of Standard XII from CBSE, CISCE, or State Boards with a minimum of 70% overall and at least 65% in Mathematics and English.

✅ IELTS: Applicants need a score of 5.5 overall with a 5.0 score in each component
✅ DET: Students need a minimum total score of 90.

They also give Technological support with Roger Select, Connect 12, Echo pens, Printing facilities, Reader pens, Touch screen tablets, and specialized software.

The university also has a student union that offers valuable support, and they also arranges events throughout the year. Sports are a big part of student life at ATU.
