1.	How long does the application process take?

Answer: Yes. Deferrals are allowed in certain situations. Students need to contact the Admissions Office to request a deferral.

2.	Can a student defer their place at NCI?

Answer: Coursework assessment depends on the specific program. It may involve exams, assignments, group projects, presentations, or continuous assessment.

3.	How is coursework assessed?

Answer: Yes. NCI provides access to multiple clubs and societies. Students may also start their own groups or participate in community outreach and volunteering initiatives.

4.	Are there opportunities for students to volunteer or join clubs?

Answer: Work placements offer practical industry experience and exposure to modern technologies. They support career development and allow students to apply academic knowledge in real-world environments.

5.	What are the benefits of work placement for students?

National College of Ireland intakes are offered twice a year. One serves as the primary intake, while the other is limited to select Postgraduate Courses.

September is considered to be the primary intake, covering most Postgraduate and Undergraduate programs.

The January intake is smaller in scale, featuring selected programs primarily from the School of Computing and the School of Business.

The National College of Ireland (NCI) is a state-supported institution of higher education located in Dublin. Established in 1951, it began as a collaborative initiative between Irish trade unions and the Jesuit community, originally operating under the name Catholic Workers College, Dublin. &nbsp;The National College of Ireland Dublin campus is in the International Financial Services Centre, spread across Mayor Square and Spencer Dock, just a short walk from each other.
