All transactions must be processed through the portal using a credit or debit card. &nbsp;The application fee is €35 for all applicants and is non-refundable. South East Technological University (Waterford and Carlow Campus) 

South East Technological University (SETU) is a public technological university in Ireland's South East Region. It was created through the merger of the Waterford Institute of Technology and the Institute of Technology Carlow. While the establishment of SETU was announced in 2021, it was officially formed on May 1, 2022. Notably, it stands as the only university in the South East of Ireland. &nbsp;SETU has multiple campuses across the South East of Ireland, including locations in Waterford, Carlow, Wexford, and Kilkenny. The largest campuses are in Waterford and Carlow, with Waterford hosting over five sub-campuses and Carlow having around three campuses. &nbsp;South East Technological University in Ireland serves a student body of over 18,000, including more than 560 international students from 120+ countries. It is supported by a dedicated team of 2,000 staff members who contribute to its academic and research excellence. &nbsp;SETU demonstrates strong research capabilities, with a commitment to increasing its research expenditure to €27.5 million by 2028. To be eligible for South East Technological University Scholarships, students must first receive either an offer or a conditional offer for an eligible course at SETU. Once they secure admission to a qualifying program, they are automatically considered for any available Entry Awards. Those planning to change their program or defer their admission should be aware that doing so may affect their scholarship admissibility.

SETU Student Support Services help students during their transition to university and throughout their academic journey. The support team addresses both personal and academic concerns. &nbsp;The Students' Union has a dedicated group for international students, providing a platform for communication, information sharing, and community building. &nbsp;

Students can engage in over 80 societies on campus, covering diverse interests such as African, Christian Union, Cultural Shake-Up, Malaysian, Engineering, Law Society, Music and Band, and Top Gaming Society.

Additionally, there are over 30 sports clubs that actively participate in intervarsity competitions.

Accommodation at South East Technological University offer 66 single en-suite rooms, including three with accessibility features. These apartments are situated on the Cork Road Campus, providing easy access to university facilities.

Additionally, City Campus consists of multi-story apartment blocks with 94 apartments and 360 bed spaces, some of which are designed for students requiring accessible accommodation.
