SIT combines most charges into a single course and resource fee, covering the majority of student services. This offers exceptional value for a world-class education. &nbsp;International tuition fees at SIT vary depending on the qualification and duration of study. Once a student receives their Offer of Place, an invoice detailing the programme costs is sent, along with clear payment instructions. After the fees are paid, a receipt is issued, which, along with the Offer of Place, can be used to apply for a student visa. &nbsp;Another advantage is that SIT automatically includes insurance for mainstream international students within the resource fee, removing the need for separate arrangements. The multiple Southern Institute of Technology intakes offer flexible study options throughout the year, designed to suit the schedules of international students. While many programmes have several start dates, the two main intakes follow New Zealand’s semester system February and July. &nbsp;There is no automatic rollover of enrolments from one year to the next. All students are required to complete a new online application for each academic year. If needed, applicants can apply for more than one intake to keep their study options open.
