Intakes
The Unitec Institute of Technology offers two primary academic intakes each year. International students are advised to stay informed about the Unitec Institute of Technology intakes requirements like application procedures, student visa processes, etc, so that they don’t miss out the application deadline. Still, by any chance, a student who misses the intake application deadline will be considered for the next round.

Unitec’s July intake is the second major admission cycle, commonly referred to as the mid-year intake. Admission Requirement
Applications can be submitted online by selecting the desired international student programme and clicking ‘Apply now’ on the official website. Students awaiting final exam results or English language test scores can still proceed with their applications and submit the pending documents later.
✅A recognised undergraduate degree in a similar discipline, with merit achievement or a minimum of 60%.
✅IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0
✅PTE Academic: Minimum score of 58, with no band less than 50
✅TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 79 with no band less than 21
For undergraduate programmes, students must have completed the Senior School Certificate (Class 12) with at least 55% in four core academic subjects.
✅ILETS: A minimum score of 6.0 is required, with no band lower than 5.5.
✅PTE Academic: Minimum score of 50, with no band less than 42
✅TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 60, with no band less than 18
