Intakes
University of Otago Intakes vary based on the program and study level. It offers multiple entry points throughout the year, with some months designated as major and others providing entry to select Postgraduate Degrees.
These are the primary intakes when all courses across all study levels are available. February is considered Semester 1, while July is referred to as Semester 1.
Otago provides opportunities to enroll in over 94 Postgraduate Programs during its minor intakes, allowing international students flexibility in choosing their preferred start date.
Cost to study at the University of Otago
University of Otago fees are determined based on the specific papers students select within their course. While the published fee schedule reflects the cost of a full set of papers from a particular subject area, actual tuition fees vary depending on the chosen combination of papers. Additional costs, such as student services and administration fees, are not included in the tuition fees.
The university has partnered with Convera, providing students with diverse payment options. This encompasses WeChat Pay, Trustly, Klarna, Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, and bank transfers. Cash payments for tuition fees are not accepted on campus.

Scholarships Available

Admission Requirement

✅DET: Overall score of 120, with no individual subscore below 95.
✅All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSC), Indian School Certificate (ISC), Karnataka, Maharashtra, or West Bengal State Board Examinations:
1. 12 years of schooling, an overall average of 75%, and a minimum of 60% in English.
✅ All other Higher Secondary State Board Examinations:
