Overview

Founded in 2009, the Singapore University of Technology and Design is known as a recognized institution dedicated to innovation, technology, and design. As the world’s first Design AI University, SUTD integrates artificial intelligence with human creativity, fostering a collaborative approach to solving real-world challenges. SUTD in Singapore is home to over 10 research centers, covering fields like science, engineering, and design. Intakes

The Singapore University of Technology and Design offers a single intake in September each year with 9 Master’s programs available. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the SUTD Admissions System, and only one electronic application per student is accepted.
 

The University follows a comprehensive application review process, assessing candidates holistically based on their academic performance, personal qualities, and portfolios, including co-curricular activities.

Admission Requirements

The Singapore University of Technology and Design admission requirements for Master’s programs may vary, but the general criteria remain consistent. SUTD follows a distinctive admissions process, assessing applicants holistically beyond just academic performance. Selected candidates may be invited for a conversation with faculty or University leaders to determine their fit for the program. Indian students interested in pursuing a Master’s degree at SUTD can check the specific eligibility criteria here.  

✅ Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% from a recognized institution. 

✅Candidates whose Undergraduate education was not conducted in English must submit proof of language proficiency. Acceptable test scores include a minimum TOEFL-iBT score of 85 or an IELTS score of at least 6.0.
