Intakes

HTMi Switzerland offers four academic intakes in Switzerland each year in January, April, August, and October. These Hotel & Tourism Management Institute Switzerland intakes are designed to accommodate diverse student needs and align with global academic schedules. In each intake, the institute provides a choice of two postgraduate and three undergraduate programs. Students planning to apply should do so well in advance, as obtaining a student visa can take 8–12 weeks.

Ideal for students who wish to begin their higher education at the start of the year, this intake sets a strong academic pace and allows learners to complete their first semester before the summer break.

Best suited for students who prefer to avoid peak admission seasons, this intake provides smaller class sizes and more personalized learning opportunities, while still keeping students aligned with international study timelines.

The most popular intake among international students, it aligns with the global academic calendar. Students beginning in August benefit from a vibrant campus environment, as this period sees the highest enrolment.

A flexible option for students who may have missed earlier intakes, this intake ensures that they do not have to wait an entire year to begin their program. It also offers a smooth transition into the winter semester.
