Intakes

Edinburgh Napier University intakes are divided into two categories: Major and Minor. The major intake offers all programs at all study levels, whereas the minor intake caters to a few select courses. Students are encouraged to apply according to their preferences or course availability.

September is the primary intake when all the Postgraduate and Undergraduate courses are offered.

January serves as the secondary intake, offering only Postgraduate Programs for students.

Scholarships Available

Admission Requirements

Edinburgh Napier University Admission criteria differ based on the level of study and the applicant’s home country. International students who do not meet the direct entry requirements have the option to begin their academic journey through a pathway program at Edinburgh Napier University International College (ENUIC), which prepares them for progression to a full degree.
 

In addition, all international applicants must meet the Edinburgh Napier University English language requirements, which ensure students are prepared to study in an academic English environment. ✅ Minimum of 55% overall in an Undergraduate Degree for most courses.
✅ For the MSc Computing with Professional Placement, a minimum of 60% is required.

✅ IELTS : 6.0 overall, with no band below 5.5
✅TOEFL: 80 overall with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing.
✅PTE: 56 overall with a minimum of 51 in each component

✅ 65% to 70% or above in English in the Indian HSC (10+2/XII Standard)
✅ An Undergraduate Degree taught and assessed in English within the last five years
✅ If the degree was completed over five years ago, cases are reviewed individually
✅ Requirements may vary based on state education boards

✅Completion of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with 60% or more in the Intermediate (10+2/XII Standard) exam.
