Intakes

Lancaster University offers a primary intake in September, aligning with the traditional academic calendar in the United Kingdom. This Lancaster University intake serves as the main entry point for all the postgraduate and undergraduate programs
 

Starting from September, the academic intake is structured into three terms: Michaelmas, Lent, and Summer. The academic year commences around September with a Welcome Week. This is followed by the Michaelmas Term from October to December. The Lent Term starts in January and goes on till March. It is followed by the Summer Term from April to June. This comprehensive framework for the academic schedule is nearly the same for all courses at Lancaster University.

Cost to Study at Lancaster University

Scholarships Available

Admission Requirement

Lancaster University welcomes applications from international students across various levels of study, offering a diverse range of courses to meet global academic standards. Lancaster University admission requirements for Indian students include:

✅ Indian students need to have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum aggregate of 60% or first-class from a reputed University.

✅IELTS: A 6.5 overall score with no band less than 5.5 is required.
✅ PTE: 58 overall score with a minimum of 42 in sub-sections is required. 
✅TOEFL iBT: 87 overall score with minimum of 17 in listening and speaking, 18 in reading, and 20 in writing is required. 

*Note: The University may grant an English language waiver based on a student's 12th-grade English scores, depending on the education board.

✅ Indian students need to have an average of between 75% to 90% in the best 4 subjects in Grade 12. This excludes Hindi and Physical Education

✅ Certain courses may consider Math or English scores of Grade 10.

✅ IELTS: A 6.5 overall score with no band less than 5.5 is required.
✅  PTE: 58 overall score with a minimum of 50 in each component is required. 
✅TOEFL iBT: 87 overall score with a minimum of 19 in reading, listening, speaking and 22 in writing is required.
