Queen's University Belfast UK was established in 1845 as Queen's College Belfast. In 1908, it officially evolved from its origins into an independent University. Intake

Queen's University Belfast UK offers multiple intakes to give flexibility to students planning to pursue their degrees here. The September intake serves as the principal entry point for all the Postgraduate and Undergraduate programs. This intake aligns with the conventional academic calendar, commencing in mid-September and concluding in late May or early June. For the academic year, Semester One spans from September to December, followed by a Winter Break. Semester Two runs from January to May.

Admission Requirement

✅ PTE Academic: A minimum overall score of 69, with each component achieving at least 59, is accepted. 
✅ Duolingo English Test: A required overall score of 120, with no sub-score below 110 across all subskills.

Note: Students with 70-75% qualifications from CBSE, CICSE, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal boards are acceptable for Queen's University Belfast English language requirement waiver.

✅ Indian students need to have a minimum score ranging between 70% to 85% in 12th standard depending on the course and the Board. 
✅ There may be additional subject-specific minimum score requirements for certain courses. 
✅ Students planning to enrol in Medicine or Dentistry programs need to have a minimum overall score of 90% in 12th standard with at least 90% marks in Chemistry and Biology.
