Overview

Originally established in 1843 as the Sheffield School of Design, Sheffield Hallam University achieved full university status in 1992. Located in South Yorkshire, England, it is recognised as one of the top universities in UK for its strong academic reputation, diverse student community, and industry-focused programmes. Today, it ranks as the 14th largest higher education institution in the country, with over 32,000 students, including an 18% international population from more than 120 countries.
