Intakes

Teesside University offers multiple intakes throughout the year for international students. It is strongly recommended that students accept their offer and pay the deposit by the deadline mentioned in their offer letter.

This is the primary intake during which all courses are available for enrollment.

This is a secondary intake, offering the majority of Postgraduate and Undergraduate courses.

A limited number of courses, mainly in Business and Computer Science, are available during this intake.

Cost to Study at Teesside University, UK

Teesside University offers flexible payment options for international students. A minimum deposit is required before a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is issued, with the balance payable at enrolment or through instalments. Teesside University tuition fees for international students remain fixed throughout the duration of the course.
 

Students can pay in their local currency and choose to pay the remaining fees in one full payment, three instalments, or five instalments. If awarded a partial scholarship, the deposit may be adjusted to reflect the remaining balance. Scholarships Available

Admission Requirements

The admission process at Teesside University can be smooth for international students who meet the entry requirements. Demonstrating English Language Proficiency is essential for admission. ✅ Applicants need to hold a minimum of 55% or a CGPA of 5.8/10 from a recognised Indian university. For students graduating from universities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Jadavpur, or Kolkata, a minimum of 50% or a CGPA of 5.5/10 is acceptable.

An English language proficiency waiver may be granted to students based on their Class 12 English subject score, which generally ranges between 65% and 70%, depending on the respective education board.

✅ Standard XII: A minimum of 65% is required from all state boards. Students from the Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat Boards must have 70% or above.
✅ Diploma: A minimum of 60% is required from the State Board of Technical Education, including for MEng programs.
✅ International Baccalaureate (IB): Students holding the IB Diploma with 28 points or more are eligible for direct entry to Bachelor’s Degree Courses.
