Cost to Study at University of East Anglia, UK

Admission Requirements

University of East Anglia Admission service is committed to offering students a fair and professional admissions process which offers entry to students who add to the intellectual and cultural vitality of the university.  The admission policy is applicable for full and part-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught applicants. The policy is not applicable for degree apprenticeships.

✅ 55% and above in UG and 52% required if the student has completed 4 years of bachelor’s degree. However, the requirement will vary depending on the examination board and course applied for. 
✅  Indian master’s degree study will be considered for postgraduate research in MPhil/PhD studies. In exceptional cases, some science applicants may be admitted from the bachelor’s level

✅ For IELTS students need overall score of 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in only two components and 6.0 in the others
✅ For PTE students need an overall score of 60 with minimum 60 in two components Writing and Speaking and 59 in Reading and Listening
✅ For TOEFL iBT students need an overall score of 79, with scores in Reading-18, Writing-17, Listening-17, Speaking-20
✅ For DET students need an overall score of 105 with 100 in two components and 115 in other two components

 

✅ Students require 70% and above in 12th std. The requirement will vary depending on the examination board and the course they have applied for.

All new students need to complete a two-part registration process. ✅ Online registration: Students will receive an email inviting them to complete an online registration task. This will create their UEA email account and also give them access to the UEA Portal, where they will find lots of helpful information for new students. These emails will be sent 30 days before their course start date. ✅ In-person registration: New students also need to register in person at the Student Information Zone. They will receive more information by email a few weeks before they arrive.

The course start date will depend on the type and course of study. This will be communicated to the student via email.

No, students do not need to pay an application fee to apply to UEA.

All overseas fee-paying students are required to pay the deposit unless the University decides to waive this. A waiver may be granted to applicants providing evidence of a scholarship covering full tuition fees, or those studying at INTO UEA. Evidence must be provided by the deposit deadline. The decision on whether a deposit is waived is made solely by the University.
