Intakes
The University of Liverpool offers two intakes each year: one major and one minor. Application deadlines for each intake may vary as students from different countries apply at different times, and some programs may close early if they reach capacity. Therefore, students are encouraged to apply early to secure a place in their desired program. Those opting for Part-Time Courses can apply in any intake. Online Master’s Programmes have start dates throughout the year.

The University of Liverpool determines tuition fee status based on UK Council for International Student Affairs guidelines. The University offers flexible tuition fee payments that vary based on funding sources. Self-financing students can pay in full at the start of each academic year or in instalments of 60%/40% split for Postgraduate and Undergraduate courses, and three equal instalments for Postgraduate Research Degrees. International students enrolling in a full-time Postgraduate Taught programme may need to pay a deposit of some amount, which is deducted from the total course fees. Scholarships Available
The University of Liverpool offers a range of scholarships to support high-achieving international students. Most scholarships are automatically awarded to eligible students upon enrolment in a program. The Advancement Scholarships provide tuition fee discounts of up to £5,000 for eligible international Postgraduate and Undergraduate students.
Moreover, students who have completed their Undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool and wish to pursue a Postgraduate program at the same institution may receive scholarships of up to £2,500. The University also offers general, subject-specific, county-specific scholarships and tuition fee discounts for Postgraduate Research students.
Admission Requirements
The University of Liverpool admissions requirements vary depending on the level of study and course. However, students who do not meet the standard University of Liverpool admissions requirements for a full-time Undergraduate Degree can enrol by completing a Foundation program for selected courses. ✅ A 2:2 honours degree from a UK University or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution outside the UK.
✅ A 2:1 honours degree with 60% or above is required for most courses. For the MBA program, applicants must have a minimum of three years of substantive.
✅ IELTS: Overall 6.5, with no band below 6
✅ TOEFL iBT : An overall score of 88 with minimum scores of listening 19, writing 19, reading 19 and speaking 20 is accepted.
✅PTE: Overall 61, with no band below 59
✅ Duolingo: An overall score of 125 is required, with a minimum of 125 in writing, 115 in speaking and reading, and 110 in listening.

✅ A minimum of 70% in English in Standard XII for students from CBSE, CISCE, and state boards of WB, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Sikkim, Goa, Delhi, Gujarat, and Meghalaya.
✅ Successful completion of Standard X and XII with 70-85%, depending on the course and exam board. Some programs may require specific subject scores e.g., 85% in four best subjects, including Maths.
✅ IELTS: An overall band score of 6.0, with no band less than 5.5.
✅ TOEFL iBT: An overall score of 78, with minimum scores of 17 in Listening, Writing, and Reading, and 19 in Speaking.
✅ PTE: An overall score of 59, with no component less than 59.
✅ Duolingo: An overall score of 115, with minimum scores of 105 in Speaking, Reading, Writing, and 100 in Listening.
