Scholarships Available

University of Plymouth Scholarships are available to international students across all levels of study. If a student qualifies for more than one scholarship or discount, only the highest value award will be applied.
 

Scholarships are granted to eligible students starting their first year at the University of Plymouth. Foundation Year students may also be considered for these awards.

Admission Requirements

University of Plymouth entry requirements include a wide range of international qualifications, which vary depending on the level of study—Postgraduate, Undergraduate, or Research.
 

In addition to academic credentials, students must also meet specific English language proficiency standards. Those who do not meet the required criteria can opt for one of the pre-sessional courses to help bridge the gap. For Indian students, the University of Plymouth admission requirements are given below:

✅ A minimum of 55% in your Undergraduate Degree. Please note that for certain courses, specific subject requirements may apply.

✅ IELTS: 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in other components (may vary by course).
✅ PTE: 59 overall, with a minimum of 59 in each component.
✅ Duolingo: 120 overall, with no component below 105.

✅ If you have scored 70-80% in English in your Grade 12 exams (subject to board requirements), you may be eligible for a waiver.

✅ Completion of the High School Certificate (Year 12) or the Indian School Certificate (Year 12) or the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Delhi Indian School Certificate Examination Year 12) with a minimum of 60%. Subject-specific requirements may apply to certain courses.

✅  Foundation Course Option : If you do not meet the direct entry requirements, you can apply for a Foundation course.

✅ IELTS: Overall score of 6.0, with at least 5.5 in each band.
✅ PTE: Overall score of 59, with 59 in each component.
✅ Duolingo: Overall score of 105, with no component below 100.

✅ If you have scored between 70-85% in Grade 12 English (subject to board requirements), you may qualify for a waiver.
