Intakes

University of York Intakes are offered once a year for both Postgraduate and Undergraduate programs. The academic year for all degree programs is divided into two semesters. They consist of teaching weeks, consolidation periods, and dedicated phases for revision and assessment.
 

Students are required to arrive before the start of Semester 1 to take part in orientation activities.

 

The only intake occurs in September, with some courses beginning in early September and others towards the end of the month.

Admission Requirement

The University of York admission process varies by study level. Postgraduate entry requirements for international students depend on their country, chosen program, and study type. Students Essential Service

York Students’ Union is a non-profit organization within the university, run by students for students. It is led by full-time sabbatical officers, all of whom are either current students or recent graduates.
