Admission Requirement

Indiana Institute of Technology’s admission requirements vary by program and level of study. For Graduate Programs, applicants need to hold a degree from a regionally accredited institution or an equivalent qualification[IS16.1]. For Undergraduate Programs, students are required to have completed the equivalent of a U.S. high school education.

FAQs

The Department of Computer Science does not accept a 3-year year Undergraduate Degree for admission to its Graduate Program. However, a 3-year Undergraduate Degree may be considered for admission in certain departments such as Business, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, and Information Technology.

There is no strict age restriction for undergraduate applicants. Students below the age of 18 are also eligible to apply for bachelor’s programs at the university.

On-campus housing is mandatory for undergraduate students for the first two years. However, exceptions may be granted to students who meet specific criteria, such as being 21 years or older before the start of their first semester, living with a responsible relative within a 50-mile radius of the university, or having special circumstances that require consideration.

The I-20 form is issued only after the student has been admitted to Indiana Tech, confirmed their intent to enroll, and submitted all required financial documents. Once the Designated School Official (DSO) verifies the submitted financial and passport documents, the I-20 is typically issued within 10–15 business days.
