Overview

The University of Cincinnati is one of the top public universities in the USA, and it is known for being one of the first to start Co-op (Co-operative education).  Established in 1870, it was the second-oldest and second-largest public university in the country for many years.
 

The university has 3 campuses, the University of Cincinnati Uptown Campus which is the flagship campus, UC Blue Ash College and the UC Clermont College Campus which are the regional campuses. All 3 campuses offer the same quality of education. The Blue Ash and Clermont campuses have their own 4-year Bachelors programs along with associate degrees that can prepare students for a career in 2 years or transition to study in other campuses.
 

University of Cincinnati is home to over 50,000 students from 50 states and 133 countries outside the U.S. The university focuses on the values of inclusion, innovation, and impact reflected in the culturally diverse faculty and study body, as well as innovative study programs that focus on creating change in various fields.

Scholarships

University of Cincinnati scholarships are available for international students on the Masters and Bachelors level. Apart from the University of Cincinnati Merit Scholarships the university also offers graduate assistantship programs for students. In these, students receive teaching or research assistantships and a stipend for their service.

 

The university also offers Graduate Scholarships without assistantships. This means these scholarships offer support without the stipend, so no service is required for the scholarship award. International students receiving these scholarships must register for a minimum of 10 credit hours per semester while they receive the Graduate Scholarship.

Admission Requirement

The requirements for the University of Cincinnati application for Indian and international students vary depending on the level of education. ✅Bachelors degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA 
✅Official NACES Evaluation is needed for certain programs at the time of application. For other programs, it is needed before enrollment.

✅GRE/GMAT is required for certain courses is a standardised exam

English language proficiency test score  is required of any one test as per the below given specifications 
✅For IELTS  an overall band score of 6.5 to 7.0 will be needed
✅For TOEFL iBT students need an overall score between 80 and 100
✅For PTE  the overall score needs to be in the range of 54 to 68
✅For Duolingo  an overall score of 110 to 120 would be required

✅GPA 2.5 to  3.0 on a scale of 4 in 12th standard
✅Other academic requirements as per the program of their choice

To meet the English proficiancy requirements students can either take SAT or ACT meeting the required English scores or take any one English proficiency test as specified below. 
✅For SAT students need 480 in Evidence-Based Reading & Writing 
✅For ACT students need 19 in English Proficiency 
✅For IELTS students need an overall score between 6.0 and 6.5 with 6.0 in speaking and writing sections
✅For TOEFL iBT students need an overall score of 79 with 20 in writing and speaking
✅For PTE students require an overall score of 53
✅For the Duolingo English Test, students need an overall score of 100 with 100 in production and conversation.

Placements
