Overview

The University of Idaho (U of I), located in Moscow, Idaho, is a public land-grant institution known for its strong emphasis on research. Established in 1889, it holds the distinction of being the only Carnegie R1 research university in the state. Beyond its main campus in Moscow, the university maintains additional centers in Coeur d’Alene, Boise, and Idaho Falls. It also runs a research park in Post Falls, along with 42 outreach offices and numerous research and educational facilities. Through its Extension system, the university provides services across Idaho, with faculty actively engaged in community-based education and support. Intakes

Intakes at the University of Idaho are divided into Fall and Spring sessions. As compared to the Spring Intake, the Fall Intake generally offers a broader range of courses at both the Graduate and Undergraduate levels.

At the Graduate & Undergraduate levels, all courses are offered during the Fall Intake.

The Spring intake provides access to nearly all Graduate programs. All Undergraduate courses are also open for enrollment during this period.

Scholarships Available

At the University of Idaho, various scholarship programs are available for international students at both Undergraduate and Graduate levels. Undergraduate students at the University of Idaho are eligible for a wide range of scholarship opportunities. All qualified students are automatically considered for an award without the need for a separate application. In addition, renewable scholarships are available for up to four years of study, covering as much as 50% of tuition costs, depending on academic performance and program criteria.

Admission Requirement
